deadmau5 has officially retired his legendary Cube stage and announced his first new album in a decade, slated for release in 2026. The producer unveiled a reimagined live show alongside the debut single “Ameonna,” out now via mau5trap.
First introduced in 2010, the Cube became one of the most groundbreaking stage productions in electronic music, evolving into a 260-ton rotating structure packed with 600 LED panels and custom software. After more than a decade of innovation, deadmau5 is moving on from the Cube era to debut a brand-new live production at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on November 7–8, during his annual day of the deadmau5 celebration.
The performance will feature his TESTPILOT techno alias, unreleased tracks from the upcoming album, and a rare drum & bass set to close the night.
The new single “Ameonna” channels the spirit of its namesake Japanese rain goddess through dark, atmospheric melodies and vintage deadmau5 synth work reminiscent of his Strobe era. While details on the album title remain under wraps, fans can expect his most ambitious project yet when it drops in 2026.
